Alignment

There are no bad alignments or movements. Moving in all of the incredible motions is being alive.

Issues and discomfort can build when we rely on the same muscle patterns over and over, year after year. Alignment gives us a place to start bringing more balance into the body and moving more of ourselves.

We live in environments that encourage overuse and underuse—sitting, flat surfaces, repetitive habits. Over time, this can lead to patterns that don’t support how we want to feel.

Practicing alignment helps restore balance, support longevity, and create a body that feels better to live in.

Alignment Skills

Observe how you move and begin to shift unconscious patterns in how you sit, stand, and walk. These focused lessons help you build more balanced movement patterns, improve stability, and support how your whole body works together.

Start Moving

Practice chair, standing, and mat-based classes that help you move more of yourself. You can return anytime.

Start Noticing How You Move

We often think of movement as something we do during exercise, but how we sit, stand, and move throughout the day has just as much influence on how the body feels and functions.

Much of how the body feels comes from repeating the same patterns over and over. This practice brings attention to those patterns and creates opportunities to use more of the body in everyday movement.

We live in environments that limit how much of our body we use. Over time, this can shape how we move without us realizing it. A variety of movement is just as important as what we eat for overall well-being.
