Why I Teach This Way

I started with yoga at 17, and it immediately felt like home. I became consistent in my practice and studied with many teachers, exploring different styles and approaches. Each one offered something valuable, and I saw how movement could support people in different ways.

As I continued teaching and practicing, I noticed I still had questions. People were doing what they were told would help, like stretching, strengthening, and staying active, but many were still dealing with the same discomforts and common health ailments, repeating the same habits in their body without realizing it.

When I was introduced to the study of movement through the lens of human biomechanics, things began to make more sense. I started to understand how the body actually works, why certain patterns develop, and why some approaches help while others fall short.

That shifted everything.

My work now focuses on helping people notice how they move, reduce unnecessary tension, and use more of their body in a balanced way. Instead of forcing positions or chasing intensity, the goal is to create small changes that improve how the whole body functions.

Over time, these small changes add up. Movement becomes easier. Breathing improves. The body feels more supported and less strained.

This is not about doing more.
It is about doing things in a way that works better for your body.

If you’re ready to explore this approach, you can start with a class or begin with alignment skills.
